About this game

Badger Worlds is a cozy 3D world where your Badgers live. Connect your wallet and Badger, the shopkeeper who was here first, checks who you hold. Every Badger in your wallet arrives as an egg in his backyard. Warm it up, watch it hatch, and it moves into your glade for good.

From there the world runs on its own. Your Badgers wander, dig up treasure, eat fruit off the trees, hop in the hot tub, ride skateboards and chat with you. Every player gets their own world, built fresh around them. Decorate it, fill it with toys and make it yours.

It is free to play in your browser on desktop and mobile. No downloads, no fees, and connecting your wallet never moves anything out of it.

Connect your walletHit Start above and connect any Solana wallet. Then pick a name for chat. It only takes a free signature.
Meet BadgerWalk up to the General Store. Badger checks your wallet and every Badger you hold shows up as an egg in his backyard.
Hatch your eggsLook at an egg to see how long it has left. Warm it up to make it hatch sooner. Your first egg only takes about 45 seconds.
Live with themFeed, play, decorate and dig. Sell finds to Badger for gold and spend it on new things for your world.

Where to get Badgers

Badgers come from Badger's Grid Miner. Dig deep, win mystery boxes and pull one of fifty furs. Mint it as a real Solana NFT and it walks straight into Badger Worlds the next time you play.

No Badgers yet? No problem. Everybody gets Classic as a starter, so you can play right away. You can also pick one up on the market.

Everything you need to know about Badger Worlds. The game is in beta, so details can change as we build.

Badgers and eggs

Every Badger NFT in your connected wallet can live in your world. When Badger finds them, their eggs land in his backyard behind the General Store. You never have to place an egg yourself.

Your first egg hatches in about 45 seconds. After that, rarer Badgers take longer: about a minute and a half for a 1 star, up to around 20 minutes for a 10 star. Click or tap an egg to warm it and it hatches sooner.

Bring a new Badger into your world any time from Badger's store. If a Badger leaves your wallet, it leaves your world too. New ones you get show up automatically.

Bonds and personalities

Each Badger has a personality: Sunny, Grumpy, Dreamer, Show-off, Foodie, Nervous, Sleepy, Curious, Prankster or Poet. It changes how they talk and what they get up to.

Talk to them, feed them by hand and give them gifts to grow your bond, up to five hearts. Use the quick chat prompts to ask how they are doing, ask for a joke and more.

You can rename any Badger in the Badgers tab of the menu. The name stays on your device.

Finds and gold

Badgers dig while they roam. What they turn up goes in your bag: shiny stones, old keys, lost socks and stranger things.

Sell finds to Badger at the General Store for gold, or keep the good ones. Gold is only used inside the game.

Shops and shopkeepers

BadgerThe General Store. Toys, decorations, trails and treats, and he buys your finds. He was here first, so he got the name.
CloverThe garden stand. Saplings that grow into your own fruit trees, plus plants and flowers.
SprinklesThe ice cream cart. Six flavours, from a Vanilla Cone to the Rainbow Sundae.
FluffThe cotton candy cart. The Giant Twist is bigger than the Badger eating it.

Items and trails

Over 80 toys, decorations and treats so far, and your Badgers use them. They soak in the hot tub, bounce on trampolines, ride skateboards off kickers and halfpipes, grind rails, score goals and gather round the campfire.

Place items anywhere in your glade, move them or pack them back into your bag. Trails are gifts: give one to a Badger and it leaves that trail behind it as it runs.

Your world

Every player gets their own glade, built fresh in the mountains. It starts with Badger's house and store. More of the world opens up as you play.

Chat

Glade chat sits next to the game. Anyone can read it. To post, connect your wallet, sign a free message to prove it is yours, and pick a name.

Your Badger Worlds name is separate from your Grid Miner name, so it can be anything you like. 3 to 16 letters, numbers, spaces, dots, dashes or underscores. Be kind. Spam and abuse get muted.

FAQ

Does it cost anything? No. Badger Worlds is free. Signing in is a free message signature and never moves funds.

Do I need a Badger NFT? No. You start with Classic. Get more by playing Grid Miner or from the market.

Which wallets work? Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and most other Solana wallets.

Can I play on my phone? Yes. It runs in your mobile browser. Full screen gives you the most room.

Will my progress carry over? Your world is saved in the browser you play in. Clearing your browser data resets it.
